for inline external fuel filter you could ask your mechanic to bypass the filter temporarily. if the problem goes away then you know this is defective...better than buying a new filter and problem still remains.

had a similar problem with my pajero once. car would die when engine speed became low. Had the spark plugs/fuel filter replaced, and cleaned the throttle body. maybe check your alternator charging voltage also.

they had the 997 Turbo in mind when designing this car. apparently it laps nurburgring faster! too good!

run flat tires have stiffer sidewalls so that they can be used with no air pressure, however this also makes the ride very hard. E60 M5 comes without run flats so i would also recommend normal tires for your 5.

What engine would you recommend?
I'm in the initial stages of restoring a late 70's Japanese FR sports car.....
I was planning on throwing out the old engine/gearbox and putting a newer EFI engine in its place.
My initial thoughts were 3SGE(toyota), SR20DE/CA18DE(Nissan)....wanted to keep it to a 4cyl below 2000cc but with decent ...
