You guys don't realize that an Accord in India actually qualifies as a luxury car.

Since the Maruti 800 in India is what the toyota corolla is in Bangladesh -- well you get the idea.

The recent movie 'DUS' showed 'Sunil Dutt' driving around in a stupid CR-V, which was like a status vehicle in India...My cousin (30 yrs, housewife) has it and that _is_ actually considered a 'married' meyeloker gari in LA. Just like all the other small SUV's.

Indians had to make do with Ambassadors and 50's FIAT models for a long time....so an accord is a really big deal...

BTW the stretch accord was probably made by Dilip Chhabria's 'DC designs' in Pune. He designs all the Indian concept cars for the Auto Shows (including Tata) as well as one-off customized jobs like this.
