what will happen is :

1. they'll use the helicopter to transport big RAB officers and ultimately end up giving the govt a huge fuel bill....

2. try to shoot at criminals from the copter, ... and if some innocent peoples die, they might as well as say in a press release that they were criminals ( with a no of lists of commited crimes ) as well...

but, well... it'd be a quick method of transport ... so whenever they'd need to catch a criminal fast, they may use it...

i hope they use it well... and make a good use of it
Don' be so critical. They will be used for combing operations (searches), SAR, medivac, and anti-terrorist operations. The politicians cannot use military helicopters, only the PM can use it and she already uses the Bangladesh Air Force helicopters which are fitted with VIP suites.

That sounds like a load of BS. Blackhawk's are too expensive and are only used by military. RAB is a paramiltary/law enforcement agency. It is likely they have purchased Bell or Eurocopter helicopters.

they way they mis-use their bullets on the civilians, doesnt allow me to be too hopeful .

I don't think any normal Bangladeshi should be concerned about this as the RAB is shooting people who commited 40-50 murders. Personally I would not like to see them alive.

RAB is doing a good job considering the situation in Bangladesh and how corrupt the Police force is.

You cannot apply the same human rights principals in Bangladesh like you do to the United States as the situation is completely different. Bangladesh is a developing country and law and order are the basic requirements to national development. Those who are in the way (criminals, corrupt) should not deserve any sympathy rather victims families should be given more attention because I am sure you would not like your fmily members killed by terrorists and get no justice from the corrupt judicial system of Bangladesh.

This is the type of helicopter that RAB could have purchased. I am only guessing because I do not know the actual model though it is either this one or another American ones. This helicopter is called the Eurocopter EC135. It represent's the latest in law enforcement aviation technology, befetting for RAB.

It will be either black or white or a mix of both. Black will make it very stealthy looking, good at night, but no good for the day but then again helicopters make a lot of noise so there goes the stealth theory.

But the helicopter looks so sleek. 8) I will post more photo's.

whats the point of a helicopter being stealth in BD...not like ppl wont hear it coming...this isnt a warbird...police copters very rarely have the element of surprise on their side...I think its useless. What are they gonna do...fly a copter in the middle of the city...and then what???? the way bd is...not very hard getting away from a helicopter...this isnt the streets of LA...

oh well..whatever tickles their fancy.
