looks like they are avoiding the city, the petrol station seems to be in the outskirts of dubai. normally the gas stations in dubai city are pretty big, and has better landscaping than that.

do u know why they would test drive the new ML in Dubai? is it becuz they wanted to see how the car runs in different climatic conditions or something like that?

the thing is that in the summer for some reason Mercedes and BMW's AC cannot seem to cope up with the tempertaure. Its the same problem with the 740iL, you can blow the air at your face, and your face may be cool but the rest of the body would still be warm, in other words the ac doesnt cool the whole car it just blows cool air. is it making any sense, its like a fan in this case and not an ac. However with japanese cars, their ac seems to work real fast, and the interior becomes nice and cool. So maybe they're testing that since the temp now is around 48 degrees celcius.

They could also be testing the engine, to work in extreme weather conditions which is more likely.
