Who really is the Stig from "Top Gear"?

* McCarthy was a former Formula 1 driver and test driver for the Benetton, Arrows and Williams teams.

I just hope that the current Stig is "Tiff Needle".

He used to be in Top Gear, basically the guy who used to drive all the exotics, now he's in 5th gear...

from what I gather there may not be a permanent stig. the guy who drove the F1 car as a test driver of Williams. Some saw Damon Hill and a big rumour is Tiff....but I guess its one of those ex racers...GTI might have some ideas.....He loves these conspiracy theories....
