Before you guys read it,I'd like to say that,this story is unexplainable and maybe some of you guys may not believe it.

I was coming from Mirpur 10# to ma house with my Bycycle (yea sumtimes i ride that besides my car!) ...i was nearer to my house...and i gave for the left indicator...but suddenly a bad-ass Van (wot do we call dat in bd...like small buses) came out without any horn+headlights and when it just came beside my leg the helper screamed "ahoyyy..." ...i was just thinkin what the heck...but when i saw it coming real closer i lost control and fell off..
but ALMIGHTY ALLAH saved me cuz i fell off to the opposite side of da van and luckily there was no other cars for a while on da opposite side! ...i got a bit hurt in my head and sum scars in my hand and leg (knee) ...thats not a problem...but if i would have been under the van that time..i wonder what would happen then...!! anyways it occured at 7 or 7:30 pm today...i just came from clinic at 9 ..it was horrible...dayumm..Well i decided/promised that i won't ride bikes nemore...I'll give it to any of my kiddo cousin....damnn...u ppl won't believe..!! damnn

Good to know you are ok, be very careful with bikes, same thing happened to me too today, when i was comming home from office. we are having a winter rain and snow mix today and roads are very icy. i was on the right lane and going towards left lane, i was only going 60mph, i didnt had my traction control on and all on a sudden my lexus went out of my reach and did 2 360's, 1 on the road and another one on the side of the road and ended up at the ditch about 6 ft. from the road. all the traffice stopped and came to my rescue if i was ok or not. luckly and thanks to Almighty, I wasn't hurt nor my car had any dammage. half hour later cops and Triple A tow truck came to rescue and after an hour i was on the road again.

I little mistake will bring a lot of damage in your life. I urge all the members of DTD to drive carefully. at the end it's only us whom we have to blame.

yeap these vans (i mean maxis or sumfin) drives real rough at nights...they doesn't even bother to switch on the headlights or give the horn... :blue_mad:

oh man um a gr8 fan of bicycles!!i min um addicted!!i hav all sorts of mountain bikes n still hungry for more!!i ride them hell rough coz i dont go out on da streets!!not allowed actually..i had many accidents but still um reckless..neway gud 2 no u dint go under that van!!

well um also a big fan of Mountain Bikes you know...had many of em...but left biking..serious dangerous here in dacca...but i used to ride in ctg before...it was fun man...wit friends..wow :blue_rolleyes:
