1> How many of you are willing to do drag race on a course length of 1/4th or 1/8th of a mile just like any international standard with all safety measures?
2> What do you think would be the public reaction against it?
3> What do you think about giving the race a professional look?
4> What should be the registration fee for such an event?

2>What do you think would be the public reaction against it?
no one will care as long as its in an enclosed space.
4> What should be the registration fee for such an event?
depends on how much you have to pay to rent the space and how much money you're panning on making from organizing this.

1>1/4 of a kilometer is fine.
2>The public will be just normal if you don't take over property.
3>You guys should have small stalls there selling oil boosters and stuff there so that people would consider buying before they drag. There should not be any wager between the people who are racing. It can get dirty sometimes. And there should be strict rules.Oh and security guards too.
4>I agree to what GTI VR6 said.

if u wanna do it in international standard, then u need a drag strip for it.........and as far as i know, there is no drag strip in BD. so u need to get a land first, big enough for 1/4 mile or 1/8 mile, and then build a drag strip on it....which sounds way too expensive.
other than that, there is no place in BD for drag racing safely....unless u can arrange one at late nights.....like after 1 am, when there is not much traffic....but even if you do so, u'll have to make sure u close all the roads leading to the road that u'll be using for the drag race, cause even though its 1 am, there are possibilities for rickshaws and trucks coming in front of your car while u r dragging. If u wanna do it in international standards, then u gotta take care of the traffic like the way street racers in US, Japan and other countries do.....or else u'll need an actual drag strip, which sounds much more safer, but much more expensive as well.

1.yea thats right i think we should all meet together it would be ok this friday by me but dont know abt u guys, but if we all sitdown and actually think of this then it is possible,
2. there would be less accidents by actually street racing in peak traffic hours and ppl could come down once a week to prove their point on the 1/4 mile
3. lot more cheaper just the thing is we need to block the roads not much of a big hassel i think and 400meters isnt a lot and like another 200 meters for braking
