DTD Meet on the 26th of January! Be there!

hey all,
these are the details for DTD's next meet-:
Date-: 26th Jan-Friday
Place-: Opposite Gulshan Park(not ladies park).This place is just infront of the Pakistani Embassy,We'l be safe from RAB there.
Time-: 6 PM.

boys... did the meet on 19th take place? why don't u guys upload the photos of the meets?! those of us who are in overseas as well as those who remain absent in the meets take place over there in bd really like to see the photos... hope u got my point. cheers

I just came to Dhaka a couple of weeks ago, and completely forgot about the site as I was preoccupied with urgent matters.

I will be here the rest of the month, but unfortunately, I don't think I can meet up on the 26th.

It would be nice to see the pics, if someone can post them.

I have a few questions for you locals:
1. I saw a Mercedes dealership in Gulshan today, and I saw some small cars. Were those B-class cars? Also, one of them looked like the previous model SLK (R170 chassis).

2. I called a car rental place that charges Tk 35,000 per month for a car with driver and gas. That's about $500 per month! Is there anything that's half the price or less?

3. What is the typical mileage of a Toyota TownAce Noah from Uttara to Gulshan and back, on a daily basis? How much can I expect to pay for CNG refills on these daily trips?

mate....it can't be like this if u really a serious car enthusiast and would like to know a lot about bangladeshi motoring scene as well as would like to share your feelings with other fellows over here... no matter how busy you are cause you can make your own time if u want to...

I don't know if the meet on the 19th took place, cause I was out of town. But I'm back in Dhaka now. So, I'll be there on the 26th. But don't u guys think 6pm is a lil bit late, cause it gets dark pretty early these days, and pics don't come out good in the dark.

shahed...you saw the only Merc dealership in Tejgaon. They have an Eclass, old SLK and Bclass currently. They had an R class a few weeks ago.
