I just heard that the major Safari Tours have tested the new Land Cruiser and they are not at all happy with it. They say that the SUV is just too big and the power doesn't compensate for the extra mass... They were blown away with the previous models.
We shall have to see whether the Patrols will sell more now, but inside information for Nissan says that they are not interested to stock a lot of Patrols like the Land Cruiser does.
So all in all the old Land Cruiser will have a much higher resale value, but time would tell.
