not really , rft's are supposed to be stronger than regular tires , small humps and bumps should be ok, but at 6000km or 3000 km for Gonehell is not acceptable by any standards . BMW did recognize the issue and fixed it for 08 models onwards , well they say they did . the new tires I got run smoother with less noise and ride quality is 30% better as its not so damm hard . I am glad I got the spare tire kit even before I ever had any tire issues.

run flat tires have stiffer sidewalls so that they can be used with no air pressure, however this also makes the ride very hard. E60 M5 comes without run flats so i would also recommend normal tires for your 5.
