Arnab, it takes less than 1km of a straight road to hit 250 km/h from a standing start. Timed on the airport road, 100-200 km/h takes 8 sec, 100 km/h-240 km/h takes 15 sec. We obviously will not match magazine test times on our public roads. So, the airport road is sufficient when there is a little less traffic after midnight.

hmm, 100-200 in 8 secs is very fast, what did you guys use to measure the time and speed, please dont tell me a watch while looking at the speedo..

The passenger used a stopwatch while reading from my SPA backlit digital speedo which reads to 400 km/h. But, I also have a 9.40 time based on a video of the speedo in real time taken on another day. During that run there was some traffic initially and I had to go real slow to 50 km/h and floored the throttle at around 60 km/h. But, by then initial turbo lag had cost me probably more than a second and so the slower time. The 100-240 km/h (approx. 60-150 mph) time was also slower (16 sec) that day because of the lazy start. I'll post the video soon.

Do you ever come out during the day wrx? never seen you around gulshan or dhanmondi or anywhere. uploaded any pics of your car? it will be great to see the king of dhaka speed machine...probably you could beat the M5

Yes, you probably saw correct. I have trained up the owner of the garage who now knows how to work on my car. He usually works at my house but I was installing new driving lights with a range of 900m so he was welding on the support brackets.

Anyway, the car is no fun in traffic and I don't want to waste a racing clutch and expensive fuel additives ploughing through traffic ! Regarding the M5, I might be faster. Since I still have doubts it would have been great to meet the M5 in person under the same conditions, but, despite a few dates being fixed the meets did not take place. I have now lost hope of this happening.

You are welcome Zoheb. However, we shouldn't read too much into the tests because cars should ideally be tested in the same conditions - track surface, ambient temperature, humidity, altitude - all affect power output and times. So, you may find wide divergance between various magazines and also differences among various tests of the same magazine done at different times. I am sure you already know that.

I use NF octane booster and some other additives with my fuel and the tires are Toyo R888.

180km/h in a 60km/h zone
240km/h in 100km/h zone (highway)
200km/h in 80km/h zone.....all done with the 7er...

not doing any stupid stuff like this anymore..lol

So, you see Car & Driver say that Enzo and F1 are neck and neck. It can only be resolved with both tested together at the same time and venue. Though, most would probably agree F1 is still faster.

wrx, u forgot to put the 0-150 mph stats........where F1 clocked 12.8 secs and Enzo clocked 13.1 secs. and not to mention....F1's top speed is 231 mph and Enzo's is 217 mph.

but yeah, the acceleration timings always vary from one source to another cause of different track, weather etc conditions...

and u should read this article....its by a guy who is a ferrari fan. He drove both cars and he admitted that F1 is the faster car. here is the link.
