There are two S55 amg's in dhaka. a dark blue and a silver one. The blue one you saw, belongs to a MP and its not Morshed Khans. I have no idea who owns the silver one tho. Both these cars were at rancons for service.
Reps at mercedes claimed that the blue one would be near 3 crores if he had paid duties on it. This was prior the price hike.
Boshundhara has the silver cl55 and partho bhai has the cl500.

Dont know if there is any real S 55 AMG in dhaka. I guess not. The sky blue S class (that has an AMG badge) is actually a S 500 with an amg badge. Its doesn't even have a S 55 AMG badge, the badge is S 500 AMG and the S class has only two AMG model. The S 55 and S 65 (only from 2004). I have seen the car in Rancon motors and Its not a real AMG for sure.. I have seen its interior and the engine which were not of the AMG version. It has AMG alloy rims and side skirts. There are two S 600 in bangladesh, that I know off and it belongs to the government. The prime minister usually rides it. It is white in colour and with huge rims (probably 19") and the car would be much longer in length that other S class. It is a presidential model though with bullet proofing, TV, DVD, Satellite phone, BOSE music system, a glass deviding the drivers's and passenger's cabin and you have to use a mic to talk to the driver. It has every thing you can imagine. Its such a great car. It Must be very very very expensive. Atleast 3 times more that a normal S 600 just because of the bullet proofing.
That's the one I was talking about in one of my previous posts. The sky blue S class (that has an AMG badge) is actually a S 500 with an amg badge. Its doesn't even have a S 55 AMG badge, the badge is S 500 AMG and the S class has only two AMG model.
After hanging around in benzworld and mbworld the mb owners there seem to agree that having AMG rims and body kits qualifies that car to have an AMG badge. Its not a real AMG for sure.. I have seen its interior and the engine which were not of the AMG version. It has AMG alloy rims and side skirts.
Just check official MB sites of UK, US and Germany and I could not find the S65 AMG for sale yet even though one has been seen recently in London.the S class has only two AMG model. The S 55 and S 65 (only from 2004)

it is extremely beautiful. saw it up and close at a wedding as it was parked inside next to where the guests were hanging out. There are two S 600 in bangladesh, that I know off and it belongs to the government. compared to the AMG the M5 will be poular because of it's price. I saw the s55(blue) I'm 90% sure it was s55. I think i also saw the black slk 55 coming out of the auto fair I'm not sure because it went out just when i arrived so cudn't see the badge properly just noticed the 'Kompressor" badge at the door and the roof was down.
