Yes I'm from Pakistan, from Lahore to be specific, born in Karachi. :D

There are Ferrari's in Pakistan, but not many, very few. Altho, you might see some low end cars like corolla, camry, etc. in the hands of many people now, even the villagers, due to the Car financing schemes launched by banks.

About exotic cars, BMW's manufacturing plant is coming up near Lahore, and Mercedes is investing in a $1bn Benz plant in Sialkot, so those babies will be made locally, therefore, the price of the vehicle wouldn't be as high, and a lot of locals would be able to buy it.

I'll try and bring more pictures from Pakistan, so stay tuned guys! :D

P.S This is an excellent site, good to be here! :D
nice dude! now it will be easier for ppl to get the BMWs and Mercs over there in Pakistan. thanx for the infos buddy. hope u r already having a good time at the forum. enjoy! 8)

Welcome to the board Sultan. I have quite a few friends from Lahore over here, from LGS and Aitchison to be exact.

Awesome pics from Karachi. I cant't believe you guys have the new SL and 6 series over there already.

Great forum! I'm having a good time here! Hats off to the Admin for creating such a nice place.

After the production of those exotics begins locally, then it'll be much easier. Although, there are merc, beamer, etc dealers in the country, but because of the 150% tax (duty) on car import, the price sky rockets! So locally produced cars won't be expensive, they would be cheaper, and due to the cheap labour which is available in the country, the price could be very cheap.

I see, thats great news. We should all be friends, and more co-operation and interaction should take place between both the countries. :D

LOL! our posts are being marked in "RED" -- OT! I think we should get back on-topic!

This event was organized by GEO Tv and Capital Events. There fore, its called GEO Motorshow.

I think it'll be an annual event now. :D So every year, more pictures. There was another website, that had more pictures from the show, but I forgot the URL. .. :( Will try to find it and bring more pictures from KHI.

as i said b4. the US Accords used to be Accords in Asia and Europe b4 2004. but after the TSX being manufactured, they named it Accord for Asia and Europe. The US Accords are not available there anymore.
