Never saw the magazine itself, but would definitely like to know if their reports were totally own work or just compiled different sources

Go to auToLineBD.coM

They should have some articles there.

look at it this way...do we want to copy articles from magazines all over or we would come up with new articles and test drives. if we choose the latter then there are limitations, but we may be able to get away it. test rides some of the cars by contacting local dealers. its advertisement and people would get some knowledge on whats out there in the market

Monk and Rezwan....ever thought abt it? u guys would be the editor of it. I know its a tough job, but give it a thought. and may be some other DTD members in Bd can help as well.

what do u guys think?

Zohebl, a monthly hardcopy might seem like a brilliant idea but the overhead costs are way too high for us to bear at the moment. But, given couple of years I’m sure we’ll cover that aspect as well. In the meantime we’d want to promote the site rather diversify into other forms of publication. I don’t want to sound discouraging but the reason for us not to venture out into other possibilities at the moment is same as why we didn’t integrate a chat module to the site. We want to build a strong foundation before we actually go into subscription.

Anyways, I don’t want to put up any false promises or hopes, but I was approached by a company, who has recently acquired Tara TV’s broadcasting/distribution rights for Bangladesh and America. They’re genuinely interested and wanted to a run a show on the car scene in Bangladesh. I was requested for the use of the site name for the show. But alas, their script orientation was rather light and I’m still working with them on the actual contents of the show and renting out a venue. I’m open for ideas and any help from you lot would be appreciated. Tara TV’s production house is coming up in Banani in three months and if the show is approved, work will hopefully start in late august.
