I think the IS300 does closer to 7 secs instead of 8triad wrote:is300 is an export model. you wont find any is300 in japan. jdm altezza's(rs200) are better then is300 in terms of accelaration (0-100 in 6.9sec, is300 does in 8.0 secs). and both the cars pumps out about 215bhp(mt). but if you tune a 2jz-ge, is300's motor, it can produce more then 500 bhp. is200 (a.k.a altezza as200 in japan) uses 1g-fe engine, 2lit 6 cyl, which produces about 150 bhps. is300 are all manufactured lhd.

I agree.........this one is IS300's engine. So, the other one posted is the IS200/Alteza engine.

hey triad.....don't get me wrong bro.......I'm not doubting u or anything. I was just wondering where did u get the 0-60 mph /0-100 kph acceleration time for the IS300......is it like from a magazine or internet site or something else. cause the acceleration time from ur source of information seems to be way apart from the ones I saw at Car and Driver Magazine......so i was just wondering.
