in canada we dont have to pay tax on the engine size but in Japan they do, so the IS300 is basically the top of the range Altezza in Japan, Japan would have Alteza's in various other engines also like 1.6l, 2l and 3l Just like 318, 325 and 330 of the 3 series, same body different capacity engines
I think the IS300 does closer to 7 secs instead of 8

is300 also comes in rhd(not from the factory). aftermarket converters does it. sorry about the mistake. and 0-100 is in 8.2 secs. is200(altezza as200) does it in 9.5 secs(mt) and 11.2 secs(at). arnab give me you email add, i'll send the spec sheets.

i know itz easy for me to say that since my bro owns it... but still

we compared 2 altezza's side by side and it turned out like a is300

major difference...length, foglight...engine

I agree.........this one is IS300's engine. So, the other one posted is the IS200/Alteza engine.

hey triad.....don't get me wrong bro.......I'm not doubting u or anything. I was just wondering where did u get the 0-60 mph /0-100 kph acceleration time for the IS300......is it like from a magazine or internet site or something else. cause the acceleration time from ur source of information seems to be way apart from the ones I saw at Car and Driver Magazine......so i was just wondering.
