i have the same question why

I guess prices are higher because those cars are developped first for lhd

US spec cars are different than others, also the price given in most of the sites(UK,US,any) are not correct, they do mention the price STARTS from a certain amount and the price might DIFFER, It's a marketing policy.
Check out a UK or any site where they sell used and new RHD cars or contact a dealer there, you'll get what im saying

Abdul.......even though PM's 760Li might have the B6/B7 armoring, it still shouldn't cost that much. i mean 7 crore is a lot of money. but oh well, the base level Chrysler 300 was sold for 63 lacs in BD, so 7 crore for an armored 760Li is justified i guess.

Samar, I'm not sure if RHD cars cost more than LHD cars, but the reason cars cost more in UK is because UK is expensive. it's more expensive than US, in everything, like houses, apartments, electronics, food, clothings, etc etc. LHD cars can be really expensive as well. Take Norway for an example, they use LHD cars, but cars over there costs twice the price in US, and thats excluding the tax. if u add the tax then it costs 3 times the price in US. Norway is an expensive country too.

RHD cars cost more than LHD. The duty in bd is very high, you are not even adding the shipping cost. 300c in bd would cost around 50 to 55 lacs, the current price of a mercedes benz C Class is 65-75 UP, like you said price differs from country to country. contact a dealer in germany, the price of a lhd beamer,mb or porsche is even higher there, forget rhd. an armoured lhd Maybach costs 1 million dollars or prolly more, add the tax and shipping cost it will cost around 2 million dollars in bd which is 14-15 crores.. then 5-6 crore is alright for an armoured 7er
