Stylish coupe-cabriolet based on the Focus

Ford has been without a medium-sized coupe or cabriolet since the Escort cabriolet as the previous Focus was only available as a hatchback. But the stylish Vignale is set to put this right. It’s based on the current Focus underpinnings – so will almost certainly drive superbly – and, as is becoming customary in this class, it features a clever folding metal roof. But as this isn’t Ford’s specialist area, the Blue Oval has teamed up with Pininfarina – the Italian small car producer – to help design and build Vignale; it’s the company that’s currently building the StreetKa for Ford.
