Went over to Motorworld in Banani and saw the Infiniti QX56 there for sale... for Tk. 75 lakhs... its got a 5.6 litre V8...

In the evening I went over to Kakrail saw a beige/silver Hummer H2 at the Car Impo showroom... they were asking TK. 1 crore for it! im sure theyd let it go for around 65-70 lakhs...

Both cars were LHD and had Texas stickers on them... imported from the US/

Pics of both cars are in the gallery! :)

H2 was quoted 64Lacs, no offers, a week back. Why are they asking a crore for it now?

If h2's quoted 62 lacs then it shud be a bargain.

saw the pics in the gallery. nice. both of them look left hand drive......i have a question.....are all the H2s in bd left hand drive? what abt the Escalade and Navigator?

and why import the QX56 from US? don't they make them in Japan?

If the Hummers going or around 60 lakhs I still wouldnt buy it... the intertior is crap.. all plastic inside... hard shiny leather.. loose trim... id take the infiniti qx56 over an H2 anyday.. its a lot nice inside.. soft leather and great build quality..

p.s. all US SUV's here are LHD... i think some H2's are coming in soon after RHD conversion

yeah.....American cars' interiors are always bad with cheap materials.....i guess they don't focus on the interior much.....they are more concerned abt the power, strong body and their humungous size. :?

I would take the QX56 over H2 as well.

I just don't get this. You are on a 7 Series 1 crore+ BMW, driving by Hotel Sheraton. The traffic light turns red (or the police stops you, whatever is the rule now). You look outside the window, 10 beggers are askign you for money. You probably give them some, or don't. But how does it feel to sit in the car that costs so much, and so many people right next to you are basically straving.
How do people even eat a $400 burger and come out to see some beggers asking for 2 tk or something.
