New Mercedes-Benz S Class Pricing Announced

looks like the prices have gone up pretty high.......the info is given in euro, but i converted them in usd to see the difference.....new S500 will cost abt 108k....whereas the current ones are around 87k. and the longer wheelbase version will cost around 115k. :shock:

i heard the same from the dealer here myself. i feel that the price of mercs here are high, now its going to be impossible to afford one.

108-87= 21...........thats a $21k raise in the price. u can buy a brand new Acura RSX for 21k.

how about the HP increase? Atlest they should increase that as well as they r charging 21k more.

yeap. the S500 got an increase of 86 hp. b4 it was 302hp, now its 388hp

The price is higher than before because this time Mercedes Benz has really improved interior quality better material as Chrome which replaces plastic buttoms, better assemble, more square meter of wood.This car will hit very hardly rivals.yesterday I configured a S Class 500 with many options on www.mercedes-benz.de the price was about 117 000 euros.

117k Euro? :shock:

i guess the S class can't be compared with it's rivals like 7 series, A8, Phaeton and LS430 anymore once the new S class comes out. cause its gonna be much more expensive than the other cars. I mean the current ones are already a bit more expensive than its rivals, the new one will be a lot more expensive.
