omg, civic is gonna win !! already 3 of us voted 4 it. Bmw 3 series is compact but it's luxurious. So if i named the luxury 1's then i would have to name tsx, is, etc so just vote for these compact vehicled for now.

I voted for Corolla.......I'm a Honda fan, but never drove a Civic......so don't know how reliable they are.........but Corollas....what can i say abt them. been watching them from the beginning of my life and owned 3 of them. they are pretty damn reliable and economical cars. no wonder why Corolla is the world's most popular car and can be found pretty much in every country.

Hondas are very reliable, basically they build bulletproof engines... What I hate about them is the crancking noise....hate it... :blue_mad:

Corollas on the other hand are a bit more civilised, also bulletproof engine, hardly any maintenance required.

i would say corolla's quality is way better than any other compact cars in its class. But corolla's performance and looks has not been as impressive as the civic's. And in the other hand the resale value of a civic is way better than any other car in it's class.

Mitshubisi named Lancer a compact car long ago. It still falls in the compact car platform.

this is my definition :
Compact car is an automobile size class in the American market.
compact: a small and economical car
Compact car is a largely North American term denoting an automobile smaller than a midsize car, but larger than a subcompact car. Compact cars usually have wheelbases between 2.54 metres (100 inches) and 2.67 metres (105 inches). Another definition specifies between 100 ft³ (2800 L) and 109 ft³ (3000 L) of interior volume.
