any help will be appreciated.

I found a used Eagle Vision, 93 model.

needs new wipers. one tire leaks very slowly, oil change required. engine bay is dirty.

leaking tire means I have to buy a new one or can that be repaired.

and how do you clean an engine bay?

those are minor repairs,

firstly, check your a/c, and compressor, and get ur alternator tested. Then check the spark plugs and the condittion of the distributor caps...

then check if the engine is knocking or not, take the car to a local autozone and run a computer diagnostic, it should be free.

check ur transmission, duz it knock wen it shifts gear?

do a bounce check for ur shocks/struts....

suspension...

wiring, are they faulty? loose connection?

oil leak happening from the valve cover gasket? time to change it...

brake rotors, drums,

wats the condition of your exhaust?

these are the things u should look at, starting from the beginning one by one..

to clean ur engine, COVER ALL ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT, such as batteris, alternator, distributor cap. etc

and use ENGINE DEGREASEr u can get it from walmart.

and spray with water or hand wipe..

i hope this helps...

that does help! thanks!

do they clean engine bays at garages? any idea how much they might charge?

can you give me an estimate of what the parts and repairs cost you've mentioned above costs if something is wrong?

yes u can go to a specialty car wash shop.

where the price range is from $20 to $500.

there, the employees will clean manually every part of your car.

the best bet would be...

just visit ur local, autozone, pep boys, o'reily or other after market parts selling authorized dealers.

make a list of the parts and keep ur car model number and year ready.

u can even check ebay.

but i would not suggest that as those parts are mostly used there.

u can buy car mods, from ebay though. like headlights, indicator lights, u know the disposable/auxilary parts.

exactly..

they might have temporarily fixed the car so it runs fine for about 50-100miles...

there are special oils in the market wch reduces engine knocking noise, and many other aftermarket products are available to make ur car look fantastic temporarily..

i suggest u go get urself a civic for around 2 to 3 grand...

thats much more reliable...
