wont let me access my desktop....even in safe mode. GIT VR6 and I have a long night.....

I cant even get into my desktop. My files are all okay I know. I just need to get into my desktop!

isint there a folder called desktop, search for that on "c"

people. i got into my desktop but some of the programs arent working. i will be working on that tonight. sorry for not posting, but i am going through the threads. i really dont like accessing dtd from other computers..... :blue_rolleyes:

spent like 20 hours on this laptop. we tried a lot of different things like reinstalling windows without formatting the hard drive, installing another xp and fix the orginal xp from the new one, system restore, etc.
in the end, we tried system restore onece more to an even earlier date and it worked. windows media player wasn't working, but i reinstalled it and its fine now.
