DTD members are going to organize first ever DRAG meet.... is nt it right...
3 spots have been sorted (by me)... rest of u guys will sort the final one from this three..
1. From Staff Road to 1/4km or 1/2 km or 1 km (@ morning.. u will gets 8 mins of free road till nikunja.. i know the )time
2. 1/4 km near Agargaon... well i can't say the exact location... it is a nice place for drag.. plain road, no curves, no chance of cops... any time
3.Uttara.... well u have three roads to select
I want to make it a big event... needs sponcer for advertising, entry fee for compit... for this kind of event i will prefer #2 or #3...
catagory will be by hp, prize will be given...
i am serious about this & plese don't make it like DTD or BDCARZ meet.
we will discuss about it in details @ next meet

well regarding uttara's roads.... the selected roads are given below:
1. Road infront of Shanta Mariam (link road between 11 to 14)
2. Esha Khan Avenue (Road beside Rajuk College)
3. a wide road in Sector 10

get a field...derz a lotta fieldz in uttara..mite be short racez.. but itz safe.... try 2 hire a field... make it official....and post advertisement all over bangladesh....

fields can be slippery ...
organising a fair/contest/drag meet may require a permission from the police authority .
it may be difficult for some reasons... even if the police signs the permission appplication, they can reject it anytime

and without permision from the police or government , no one will sponsor the race .

bashundhara is impossible 2 get...... ive been caught der couple of timez... :offtopic: @gonehell.... wat car wre u driving.. Isnt the blue rx8 5 speed autol????

unless they have taken out the factory gear box(highly unlikely)...rx8s are 4 speed autos or 6 speed manuals.

Lex is right........RX8 only comes with 4 speed automatic......otherwise the 6 speed manual.

why is everyone drifting off topic... i'd like to be there if i get my ride up and running by then... otherwise ill have to kick everyones ass with my automatic allion... lolzzzz im just kiddin...
there are two identical roads that run from the main raod to the end of uttara one between sector 1 and 3 and one between sector 3 and 7, both have two lanes on each side... it u can block off the golis then it can be amazing.... then there ia another spot called lake view road... awsome and wide road but someone will have to manage the cops... otherwise its impossible... there is another raod near sector six ... but it not that long mite get a bit too tite with the braking. i still think airport road wud be the best place to do it... park all the cars near lotus tower and keep a lookout for gaps in traffic and the cops, we only need gaps for quarter miles and only 30 sec gaps will do, But if there is someone who can manage cops the roads i mentioned in uttara wud be amazing...
hmm i dont know if im helping but i really want to be there... car or no car, ill get my cam.. let me know if i can help guys
