talk abt the upcoming fifa world cup ( the grandest championship of them all) in this thread.....I know we still have like 4.5 months to go till the fifa 2006 world cup starts, but I'm just too excited abt it. I've always been more excited in football world cups than cricket world cups.

I love soccer, but lately i haven't been keeping news abt soccer since they don't show much of a soccer here in US, and also, the ppl here in USA are not much into soccer. so just wanted to know whats going on in soccer. so all those soccer lovers who keep all the news abt soccer, reply in this thread.

last night i was checking out the fifa site and the rankings......and this is the current rankings and standing that i found...

btw.......let us know which team do u support. I support Brazil. Hope they win the cup again this time. If not, then I would like to see Czech Republic or Nederlands to take the trophy since they never won it . and according to the current rankings, it seems like they might be able to do it. so ppl, let us know what do u guys think, who do u think might play in the final or take the trophy?
