expected move from BMW since the next M3 is gonna be a 400+ bhp V8, they needed something to bridge the gap (265bhp from the current straight 6 in the 330).
this new engine's gonna be more economical than the current 330 engine... considering that its a low pressure turbo, mainly delivering more low end torque!
too bad the americans will have to use a NA engine with their strict emission regulations!
