:D Sorry for the last post. Here is the post again:::::::
Hi,
I have been continuously roaming in & around the Gulshan & banani area, n I have got a crazy idea about organising a formal or leagal race at least for once. Here is the proposal:

1. Can someone or something like F1 Management can take responsibility to organise the race? F1 will get permission from the outhority to block at least 1 side of the road of a specific road at 11:30 pm. The event will be announced earlier so that people can come. TV coverage can be done so that it can help to get permission. 'Channel I' could be the 1st choice.

2. Race can be organised inside Bashundhara Housing society by taking permission from outhority. The road in front of Convention centre looked good.

3. Is there anyone big or big man's son who can take permission of a small portion of the old airport?

please let me know your thoughts, advice, anything........

btw y dont we get connected with any channel like bdcarz.com did with channel i

Airport would be a good location, I dont know when the flights are not coming, maybe late at night. Or any old runways which are not being used and in good condition. A body as big a F1 management would not come, it wont make economic sense for them. This is a very small meet. Maybe a collection of local sponsors would make it work. Once the sponsors are ready, the media is ready this prposal could be sent to the local authority for approval, just giving then an idea would not go anywhere.

I disagree about the "TV coverage". I think that can be a huge risk or they won't agree too. anyways #3 is ok i think. just need to know the schedule of different flights.

but I think our fellow member sakin_uttara can manage it, in Uttara highway or somewhere like that ?! :D

zia intl. airport was previously run by my dad,the runway is off-limits 24-7.
about the old airport, its defence teritorry. thats off-limits too.
bashundhara is a residential area,it is undoubtedly a nice place for racing but permission is an important factor.
btw this thread is in the wrong section.
moved to street racing.

thanks brothers :blue_neutral:
@NFS_MW i guess u r right about TV coverage. it could be risky.
@rawfin thanks for tha infos.
About Bashundhara-- the roads around the Convention centre is quite clear coz there r only few houses on those roads. Btw is thr no 1 among us who is living in Bashundhara or any1 else who can help us to get permission. We can say "First we will make a DTD meeting there & then we will do some friendly racing/competetion".

Hey NFS_MW how can ssakin_uttara organise a race in uttara highway? coz lots of trucks move on that way :quesexclaim:

Get the 6 Speed Type S version. The Auto is easy to drive but not as much powerful as the Type S. I have all the workshop manual for the car along with computer software to update the vehicle electronics and service, parts can be obtained from motor world anytime with delivery time max 7 days. So The RX8 will be a good buy for you.
