few years ago, they tested the CC8S (655 hp) in the Top Gear track, and they were able to get a top speed of 174 mph. This time they test the CCX (806 hp) and were able to get a top speed of 193 mph.

Then they went for the lap run to beat the lap time of the Zonda F (650 hp)......at 1st try it couldn't beat Zonda F's time........they went for a 2nd try and guess what happened. well, watch the video to figure it out.

P.S...I'm waiting for them to do a lap run with the FXX and Veyron. I wanna see how much faster those 2 cars are (around the TG track) than the Zonda F.

when the Stig was unable to break Zonda's laptime.....he said putting a spoiler will put more downforce on the car and he can manage to break the laptime of the Zonda F with the CCX.

so Top gear sent the CCX to factory and they put a spoiler on it, and CCX was finally able to break Zonda's laptime. here is the video. check it out.

P.S...putting the spoiler on the CCX makes the car handle better, but it loses the Top speed.

yeap. Stig broke the laptime record of the Zonda F, with the CCX. but on the third attempt though. 1st attempt: he was even slower than Enzo's time. 2nd attempt: he crashed........3rd attempt: after they sent the CCX to the factory and got a spoiler installed, Stig was able to make a new lap record on the TG track.
