TOP TEN WORST SUV OF ALL TIME

Post by snkpkp »

Top 10 worst SUV of all time
This is based on my PERSONAL opinion and I MAY be wrong.

No 10
Toyota Land Cruiser II, Introduction year 1988, Looked like a Dash
Hound, had a transmission from Mars and an Engine underpowered like
an elephant on four wheels. It sure could fit a lot of people and parts
were cheap, but driving pleasure and performance = 0.

No 9
Ford Grand Wagoner, Introduction year 1984, the looks of it always
reminded you why did the carpenter lost his way to the ford factory and
Added all the wood to the side of the car (it wasn't wood though). The
Engine was standard 4.0 V6 or 5.2 V8, both of them drank fuel to the
Pint, and horsepower was merely 186 on the V8 version. Ppl say a granny
On a wheel chair can handle curves better than the Grand Wagoner.

No 8
Vauxhall Frontera. Introduced in 1993. Vauxhall couldn't figure out to
Design an SUV of there own so they just bought of a whole lot of ISUZU
Platforms and made some changes (BAD ONES) and released the vehicle
Over the weekend. The rear triangular shaped windows may have excited a
Lot of ppl, but unfortunately they were all from MARS. According to
Jeremy Clarkson if you buy this car to drive 4x4 in the ditch then you
Might already be in a ditch as we speak.

No 7

Daihatsu Feroza

Ok this car was not really bad, in-fact I thought it was cool when it
First came out in 1988 with the EL II package and its FRP top wow. But
The Name FEROZA just was not right People did buy a few of them , and within three years the cars just stopped Working, not dead but would give a problem that would only be fixable By a NASA engineer. The transmission jammed every time when the engine hit 4000 rpm the doors rattled more than Bedford truck and had a ride worse than 1965 Corona RT 40.

No 6

Land Rover Free Lander (First Model year)

When this car came out, I though ok here is one car which will give the
Escudo or CRV run for its money. But when you get your hands on the
First model year of the car, you sort of get the feeling that you
Might have gotten from a 1975 Toyota Publica. The steering wheel was so
Thin that it actually hurt. The door handles and build was from Toyota
Tercel and the drive of it was worse than the Vauxhall Frontera. Legs
space was crammed. And it got 49th position out of 50 in overall JD
Power build quality in 1999 ( I guess still last in build quality). I am happy that the current Free Lander is working its way up, but it has got to do a lot of cleaning for the mess its ancestors have left for it.

No 5

Hindustan "JEEP"

We know India takes a lot of pride in their vehicles. Probably started
on the same platform as Mitsubishi did back in 1977, The JEEP by HM is
still in production and Mitsubishi created a legend from it, the Rally
winning PAJERO. I am sure JAPAN has a better environment for
development, but HM JEEP is really a piece of shit. It may last for
years, and on hindi movies it may be seen chasing a car at high speeds,
but the cars top speed in 60kmh. it has a whole 48 HP and hasn't
improved since 1977 or maybe 1945 I don know when hahahahaha

No 4

Ssanyong Musso , Should I need to say more. Hardly anyone has ever
bought one, or even saw one (what a relief). The car had a safety
standard as the CHANDER GAARI which runs through Mirpore 10 and
Kochukhet. Looked more like a 1985 Pajero on diet or better HUNGER
STRIKE.

No 3
Maruti Gypsy. Introduced 1987 in India. Based on a 1983 Suzuki SJ 410
series. This vehicle has changed road maps ans face of India since its
release. First model years boasted whole 45 HP from its 1000 cc
power-plant and had locking wheel hubs with 4L mode and 4H mode which
the BMW X5 doesn't even have. They really do run forever, but with a driving position of a tortoise. Overtaking torque of a rikshaw and an image which only delivery rikshaw van can top. BORING, BORING, BORING underpowered, underpowered ,underpowered . Still got its work done.... so this is the Wonder SUV of all time.

No 2

GM HUMMER H2 Introduced 2002

Ok many of you are gonna be like WHAT???? Yes true. This vehicle has
zero sensibility , zero practicality , an engine block of 6 litre which
is as smart as a Yorkshire terrier, and drinks up fuel to the BARREL
. If you want a vehicle which will go on a straight line at 80mph per
hour then this is it. But if you are thinking to over take the next
vehicle and make a quick turn or even just drive on a daily basis, this
vehicle is NOT for you. Highly unstable at high speeds and sharp turns,
leg space poorer than a 4 Runner even though has dimensions twice its
size. Getting in and out of the vehicle requires an LG OTIS elevator so
make sure to take MANN BANGLADESH's phone number before ordering this vehicle. One thing this vehicle has "LOOK AT ME I AM BIG AND DUMB AND THE GUY WHO BOUGHT ME IS DUMMER THAN ME"

NO 1

LADA NIVA 1600 series

First prodcution year DON KNOW WHEN

The LADA NIVA came to Bangladesh by Concord Group. They were all
powered by 1600 cc carburetor engine with 69 HP. Quite a lot for a car
of its class in that time. Anyways The windows rolled down ANTI CLOCK WISE and rolled up clock wise. The dash board used to expand in heat and would shape like modern art. Suspension travel was from Dhanmondi to Gulshan and turning radius of an elephant is probably better. When this car turned around it was next year.already..thats how long it took this car to make a U turn. Electrical system failed almost every other weekend and had to install electrical system from 1980 Toyota Corolla etc when they failed. The whole LADA company disappeared as the Soviet Russia and so did the NIVA's . Thank god there weren't any second generation to haunt us.

I agree about the H2. i dont know why ppl like it so much. if you want to be mucho and show off, then get the H1 insteed, if you are really into GM SUV's. the H2 is a crap and H3 it doesn't come into the count.

the musso's are actually everywhere. they are very unattractive in terms of styling. i guess people have bought them because of the 2.3 Merc diesel engine that used to come with it.

you made some really funny analogies in your write-up saad bhai... :D
