A friend of mine from Germany is visiting me right now. He's backpacking across South Asia (Nepal, Bangladesh, India). So, he just came here from Nepal and he climbed to the first base camp (approx 19,000 feet, Everest is 29,000 feet) of Everest while he was there. Here are a few pics he took.
