Hey all, I have been to this website before, but I just joined the forums...
look forward to hearing about luxury/exotic/sports cars in Dhaka... I am currently a Mercedes enthusiast, but Iwould like to get a BMW next year as well... I am also interested in Porsche and would love to get a Cayman.
What is the sports car scene like Dhaka? If I came back to visit, could I rent a sports car... ? If so, where can I drive it?

Welcome to DTD Shahed.... Glad to have you on board. So where are you staying? Once you check out the galleries and the last posts on various events you would pretty much be updated with the current automotive scenes in Bangladesh mainly Dhaka and Chittagong.
As far as renting goes, no you cannot rent a sports car in Dhaka or anywhere in BD. There are some roads one of them is the Airport Road.
Which Bimmer are you planning on getting?
By the way this post would be best suited under the New Member introduction section, since you are new we understand so though I am moving this topic there, I would leave a shadow post so that you can follow it.

I'm in the Washington DC area.. I was thinking of a 3-series sport sedan as a regular daily driver.
I want to keep the SLK as a fun car only.

well, it's a 2007 SLK, and they're still working on it.. it will be built in a week or so, and all accessories will go on in a couple of weeks.
I am also launching a Benz enthusiast website, which will allow people to upload still shots of their cars to create a seamless 360-degree view, and stop-action animation as well.
