So far, I have not seen the Veyron being put up against any other supercar, like the Mclaren or the Zonda or the Koenigsegg because they are considered to be "slow" in comparison with it.

After watching the following videos in youtube, you can really see how fast the Veyron is. the car its up against is the Ruf CTR. We all know Ruf as a well renowned tuner and you can read the specs of the CTR over here

A tuned Japanese car such as the supra or skyline with 1000 hp could not touch the veyron since those cars are not built to handle that much power efficiently. this has been discussed on the supra forums and the only car that could come close to beating the veyron is this supra, which, however, is not street legal:

Titan Motorsports Copper- coloured Supra 1/4 mile - 6.40 @ 220 mph

The unmodified vehicles that can beat a veyron are Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14 and Suzuki Hayabusa 1300. These are, however, limited by their top speed.

Someone needs to put the Veyron up against this monster and see what happens.

GTI VR6 EVO from UK has made a comparaison between other supercar like the Pagani Zonda S , the Ferrari Enzo , the Carrera GT months ago.They told the Bugatti is incrediblely fast , like they have never seen before , it beats with ease other supercars.King of the road

I dont agree that 1000 hp car tuned Skyline or Supra could not beat the Bugatti Veyron , I do remember that in Japan there was a Skiyline GTR R32 which has done 0 to 300 km/h in 13.32 sec.

in the last season topgear, they said it can do 0-60 MPH in 2.5 secs. now thats as fast as it gets... i dont remember any car near that mark yet...

we are talking about modified cars as well against the veyron.

this year the famous aussie car magazine "MOTOR" compared the bugatti veyron 16.4 with porsche carrera gt, ferrari enzo and pagani zonda s.... according to them the speed fact of the veyron is ..... 0-100km/h in 2.5sec and 0-200km/h in 7.3sec
