**Need Help**

My cousin asked me to send him a PS2 to Dhaka. I know it won't work because NTSC and PAL system. But is it possible to convert the system in Dhaka ??? if it is then what's the price range. please do let me know. thanks.

it is possible...
i remember a friend buying it for somewhere around 6k taka it should be a lot cheaper now.

NTSC or PAL depends if the TV can support it. My old Dreamcast was NTSC but my TV in Dhaka can support it.

neil,
ps2s in dhaka come with mod chips. meaning that they can run NTSC games. Mod chips are not that expensive.
I would suggest you not to get it from USA to send it here,the ones here will inculde mod chip,so it will be cheaper...

Thanks guy. i think their tv does support NTSC. but i'll follow rawfin's idea. let me know if someone is selling any ps2 in dhaka. thanks again guys.
