this list was published by forbesautos. according to them.... "We’ve ranked the top extreme sedans, in ascending order, according to their power-to-weight ratio, which is the number of pounds of the car's total body weight that each unit of the engine's horsepower has to move. Certainly a car’s suspension, tires, brakes and all-around handling factor into the performance equation, as do cost and amenities, but the more horsepower you have per pound of car, the quicker and faster it’ll be. We excluded the ultra-luxury sedans (Bentley, Maybach and Rolls-Royce), being that they’re a different breed and not as focused on performance."

wow the Chrysler and the Cadillac's were not what I had expected.... Maybe the Alipna B7 should have been a contender

they made a mistake by not taking in consideration the Maybach 57 S and the Bentley Arnage R which is a real rival of the S 65 AMG.The Maybach 57S is a class in its own,a perfect balance between luxury ,exclusivity , real sports abilities on track even with 2500 kg.The Bentley is full of charm too

yeah i agree with arnab,the b7 should have been there. M5 should be number 1!

Rawfin the E 63 AMG is quicker from 0 to 62 mph than the M5 .I guess they have made the classification following the ratio hp per lbs.
