Has anyone heard anything about a big auction of cars at CTG. I heard cars and bikes are going for very low prices. I'v heard of a Celica and RX-8 being bought with unbilevaly low prices. I dont want to mention the price,cuz it just doesnt not make sense!:D
So if anyone knows,please post the details.

True....that is being done at CTG..but the problem is some of the cars as far i heard and got to know have been parked under the open sky for a long longgggg time....so the condition of the cars are..:s...nobody really knows. They might be really nice for taking a look at but no idea about the condition under the hood...And have no idea about the prices...but they are low...as far as i heard.

lot of early 90s BMW as well, a 7 series, toyota crown, etc.

a Cayenne S is being auctioned as well.

Does anyone have any idea about the prices...cuz i just keep hearing ppl talking about it..n its really hard to believe the prices the are saying...i came across this article...might want to have a look at...

it says here that " The selling prices of the cars has been reduced "by" Tk 50,000- Tk 100,000 each" so im wondering why ppl are saying that the Rx8 and the Celica was bought for dirt cheap prices?!?!?!...

hey there is still a blue rx-8 not sold.its in good condition.also a mercedes e-280.2006 model these cars r includes on the auction which is going to take place on the 4th of this month.U can find the names and models with full details of also many other cars which r going to be in auction on the 4th of this month from motijeel.a lot of good cars r gonna be on auction on the 4th.its written in the list

written in which list?...today is the 4th so an auction must be taking place today...but where do u get the list from or where did u get to c it from...n does anyone know the person who has bought the rx-8 or who has bought the celica in one of the previous auctions held??...

Today someone from my office was telling me that the importers are putting 'stay orders' on their cars, therefore the auction winners are not getting the cars and also the money is stuck in the court.

i went there for Feb's last auction. Getting car out of there is TUFF. There is 2 syndicate in port who controls this car transection and none can get get any car with out their permission. There are many rupours abt cheap auction. Tht is nothing more then chapa bazi. There is a book value of the car. one have to submit more then 60% of tht price. So, buying a car.."ehat ever tht is" in 2 lac is nothing bt chapa bazi. There was a 7 series tht was sold for a little more then 36laks (more then 60% of book value).
and yeap, older then 2002 cars are hassel free. Importers of those car don't have any rights of those (more then 5 yrs old). Bt newer cars can be go under 'RIT' (odjection in Court by importer). 300ZX had same 'RIT' problem and it still have tht RIT running in court (after 7 yrs).
