Hi guys...My friend is willing to buy this car which has a factory fitted intercooler turbo . Now he found this skritching noise that he suspects to be comming from the turbo. We are thinking of a check up but am not sure of the best place for it.

open to your suggestions and it is good to be back in DTD after a long time.

what kind of car is it? why does he suspect it's from the turbo? usually when does the noise happen; at idle/braking/accelerating?

it could be from the bearing too

Remove the turbo Hose see ! if there are oils in it . at is the RPM at noise ?
