So i bought a g35 coupe. Been driving it for a month. my friend had an evo 8, which he sold after seeing the G and bought a G himself. The car definately looks nice, but the things i dislike about it is the long clutch play and the clunky clutch. I am used to turbo cars and so i decided to go NA for a change, and the biggest difference is the way power is delivered. NA cars have gradual power and it hits it after 4k rpm, which turbo's have this great burst of neck breaking power surge earlier with little to no high end power.. and i can't decide which one i liked more.

The car definately does get women, and the low growl of the exhaust is intoxicating. I didn't like the built in GPS, so i got one with out GPS, but I did get the brembo brakes. Guys, brembo sounds nice and are killer stoppers, but boy are they expensive. There is also a lot of brake dust. the VDC is very intrusive, and if you floor it, it cuts down power and brakes the car, so i have to switch it off all the time. Modding the car is very difficult as well, as the VQ35 engies are already highly tuned, and getting cold air intakes and exhaust doesn't add much HP for the money spent.

Going Forced induction is another option to hit 400bhp on stock motor, but again, thats another 7k spent.

before i bought the car, i test drove the BMW M5, and i almost got it, but because of lack of paperwork and a shady person selling it, i decided to get something newer with manufacturer warrenty. I drove a 3000gt vr4 before.. great car, just pricy to maintain.
