nice! insurance shouldn't be much as it is a 1.8 liter engine.....but then again, UK is expensive, and gonehell is a young driver too. Insurance rates are usually high for young ppl, and also depends on how long u have had the driver's license.

would not have bought this car if the insurance was reasonable.. wanted to buy an m3.. the price of that car was 25k.. .and the insurance they offered me was 20k :S coz i am on international license and my age is not 19 for another 2 weeks! lol... then decided i would get a range rover vogue.. the price of the car was 22k and the insurance they wanted was abt 16k :S .. then i wanted to get a 3 series which was abt 13k and the insurance came to abt 7k.. then finally decided to get this cause i desperately needed a car.. so got this car for 6.5k and the insurance um having to pay is 3.5 k :S which is very high compared to the price of the car ... anyway um not really excited abt the car much... lol

perfect college car, you should always drive a VW or a beat up volvo in college until you are grown up for the real cars back home :) really some cars make you more wise like this Volvo S40, you wont feel like a prick like you do when you drive your bimmers lol....joke ;)

good car.Very reliable one.I am very surprised about inssurance rate in The UK.Here in Belgium when young driver inssurance rate is very high too.

Enjoy drving the Volvo S40, later on you will get a better car when inssurance rate will be lower
