17 inches without much mods. anything over that you'd have to roll the fender from the inside and shave off a bit on the inner part.

Well, the year is 2000. I found a web page of rims that let me choose a 18.5 inch rim for toyota corolla 2000! I am quite surprised !......

oh! the other thing i got...is engine for dx to xe saloon is all the same for same CCs...like 1300cc cars have the same engine for all corollas (2000).....all different is the interior.....even that's not so much....like some cd player or tape...is all :D.....and the all power thing....that is optional for all models too.................a lx can b all powered where a xe saloon can b manual door ......

2 and L do you mean what it means on the gear shifter? if its on the shifter then 2 means the 2nd gear and L means the lowest gear..

GT stands for Gran Turismo
Ti I am not sure but quite positive that the "i" stands for "injection"

pls correct me guys if i am wrong

Hrmm. Thanks.

GTR? And give a bit descriptive detail about the GT and Ti. Like DX stands for the most basic model. Something like that.

But when should a person use 2/L ? I mean are those for any perticular situation or terrain?

"L" gear stands for when you want the most torque delivered to the front wheels. Like if you are going uphill and you have load in the car then you would want to shift back to 2/D2, this is the same principle of using a lower gear on going uphill on a manual car. I used "L" when my driveway was covered in snow in the morning . Other wise I would notice that If I was using D then it would get stuck halfway.

GTR-Probably Means Gran Turismo Racing, I am not sure. But I think there are no GTR Corolla. Normally the GT's are termed for cars like the Bentley Continental, and the Bigger Ferrari's. But it got homogenised into any car with power.

Ti/GT are the trims of the car but this varies for different regions. In Dubai its the XL/XLi/GLi......Where the XL is base,manual/ Base with power options/Luxury, better upholstery, wood accents, power everything.
