Tips and Tricks to show off ur car's performance

Post by Shafey »

Hay people
Eva fiddled wid auto transmission carz… ha? Hey, lemme giv u sum tips to show off yr car’s ‘actual fizicz’ if ur upto showin people wat ur capabl of doin wid ur auto trans machine.

1. Skid ( Street Beats style)
Firstly, if u have an RPM meter in ur car, it’ll work betr coz u can get a detaild info. of ur engine’s performance. So wat u do is…. Revvv da engine to 5000-6000 rpm wid parkin and handbrakes on…. Den quickly shift da gear down to L and whoaaaaaaaa……. wat a skid….. ur car’z gona kick off sum 10-15 metres within a coupla’ seconds.. hey, be sure to watch out objects in fronta u…. I knw dis is xtreme fun but people, plz plz plz DON’T do it often unless u hav a newer car… skiddin dis way harms ur car’s performance badly n will eventually wear out da engine’s pistons and cylinders. ( dis skids r most preferabl at dhanmondi/ gulshan areas, concert showz, fairs, n places wid lotsa ‘polapains’ around nd u need to make a flash outta urself)…. Hehehehe….

2. 360 degree spin (requires a way lot of space)!!
TRY DIS ONLYAT MIDNIGHT AT OPEN PLACES OR XTREME WIDE ROADS TO AVOID ACCIDENTS
At first, cruise ur car to 60-70km/h in an open wide road or a maat (ground) or preferably da legendary Manik Mia Avenue at around 2:00 am… if ur drivin in da left lane of da road, den steer ur steerin wheel slightly to da right (5cms across), shift da gear to N nd simply pull da handbrake reeeeeallll HARDD… Da result wil cause da tyres to yell a shriek nd u’ll be spinnin around…. Nicely… For ur info, u MUST keep on steerin da wheel left/right accordingly to perform a 360 degree spin… I’m sure ur gonna make it…. I wud conclude sayin NEVER EVER EVER try to perform a spin over 100 km/h…. doin so may cause ur car to capsize like a boat n crash nd may even cause death.

3. 200metre continuous skid (only for manual transmission)
Ur car MUST be a newer one within year 1996-2000 and at least be 1500cc to perform dis skid…. Doin so wid older cars will DEFINITELY crash da engine to bits…. nd u’ll hav to spend 30- 40 grands for overhaulin da poor babe…
Wat u do is…. as normal.... Hit da gas pedal all da way to da end, hold da clutch full… shift to gear 1, den release da cluth only HALF WAY nd hold it right der… do not remove ur feet frm da gas…. Nd keep holdin da clutch half way until u’ve had shown off ur performance. Dis skid’z pretty much as da conventional one but it only differs wid da fact dat u DON’T release the clutch pedal fully.. instead u hold it half way… nd da skid is heard as long as u want( While doin dis skid, da car emits a beshi HOTTT sound frm both da engine nd tyres which’z worth recordin.. nd if dis is done in a dhanmondi/ gulshan’s crowded place, its definitely gona make u a trademark)….

Dat wil be all fur now…. I’ve got even more hottt tips nd tricks for ur cars… if I get a response, den I’ll definitely post dem… lastly, I’M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ACCIDENTS OR INJURIES OR ANY CIRCUMSTANCES IF U’VE HARMED UR CAR IN ANY WAY.

hmm corona, should be 2l engine. anyways if its ato keep teh brake pressed and press the accelerator to 5k rpm, keep it there and dump the brake.. if you feel too much wheel spin then try at 4500rpm and so on. te best launch would be with the minimum wheel spin.

for a manual. keep the clutch pressed at the engagement point. and with the heel of your right leg keep the brake pressed hard and with the toe on the accelerator. if its a 2l eng then try with 5k rpm first and then dump the brake and clutch together. make sure you dont cook the clutch so you may want to pree the clutch a bit before the engagement point. practice makes perfect.

for best launch use a rear wheel drive car... :D

cheers

u guys tried double clutching/shifting? its a bad way to get a burst of speed from the car, even if it EFFS up ur clutch :P
dont rev the car up, but try n get a good pickup with the gas fully floored, then just as it gets to (on 1st gear) about 3/4K rpm, press the clutch in and let it go. if its a good powerful car, u'l do a wheel spin when ur goin about 20mph :D
u can also do it on 2nd gear, which will giv a wicked burst, but on 3rd gear n higher, its not all that. u shud def try it on 1st n 2nd gears.
lemme kno wat u guys think of it after tryin it

Don't floor it off the line....Waste of acceleration.

Redlining the engine

Post by arnab »

one thing to clarify. the engines are engineered to handle redline shifting sometimes, but dont keep the rpm needle at the red line for a longer time. if you feel that you are drivingfast and keep the rpm higher closer to the redline but not at redline, then the best way to take care of the engine is to change the oil at a more regular basis.

one thing to keep in mind is that the engines have a built in safety mechanism. also if you see blue smoke coming from the enhausts then you know that the piston liner is gone.
