Scion Releases xA 1.0
Call it the Scion remix: the fledgling Toyota youth brand says its new limited-edition Scion xA Release Series 1.0 arrives in dealers late next month with a special style and price tag all its own. Like the xB Release Series 1.0, the xA will come in a dramatic new color, Absolutely Red, and gets a cosmetic update, including a new grille and color-keyed rear spoiler. A power tilt and slide moonroof, plus vehicle stability control (VSC) with traction control (TRAC) are standard, as are new interior fabrics and red lighting in the center storage compartment. Some 1,550 copies of the special edition are set to be built, priced $1,395 more than the xA's base price of $12,480.
