anybody read about NBR wrecking the 2 cars found inside a 40' container, on the PSI it was declared as scrap metal
here u go da pic

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) yesterday made into scrap metal a Mercedes Benz and a Toyota Corolla imported under false declaration for tax dodging.
NBR officials cut up the luxury cars for scrap at Kamalapur Inland Container Depot in the capital in line with a High Court ruling. NBR Chairman Khairuzzaman Chowdhury was present there at the time.
"We could have realised Tk 20 lakh to 50 lakh in duties against the two cars, but we preferred to dismantle them to set an example so that no-one dares to commit the crime in future," the chairman told The Daily Star.
Sources in the NBR said Steel Trading owned by Mohammad Anisul Islam brought the cars inside a container two years ago to Chittagong port under a false declaration that scrap metal was inside the 40-foot wide container. He also imported television sets, refrigerators and air conditioners in the container.
The importer also obtained a certificate from the BSI Inspectorate, a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) firm, which confirmed that the declaration of the importer was true.
The NBR officials, however, sensed foul play. They searched the container when it was brought to Kamalapur Inland Container Depot and found the cars and other electronic home appliances.
On July 27, 2003, the importer filed a writ petition with the High Court where it said the NBR had been illegally blocking release of their imported items. The petition also referred to the PSI firm's certificate in this regard.
The NBR placed proofs of false declaration by the importer before the court that in a March 23 verdict ordered the NBR to release the items after turning those into scrap.
Sources said the NBR would take punitive actions against the PSI firm for issuing a false certificate.
