Bro....top speed in the speedometer/odometer doesn't really tell how fast ur car can actually go. I have a 170 mph speedometer in the A8 and 160 mph in the Celica. both of them are limited to a top speed of 130 mph. which doesn't mean all the other cars with such odometer will also have to be limited to 130 mph. I understand that..... but Car and Driver's test shows the TSX is limited to 133 mph. Car and Driver is like one of the most reliable source out there. infact, Car and Driver's performance test results always come out better than other car magazines. So, if they get 133 mph as the top speed....I really have to believe them.

dude i do agree with u and ur car magazine article.....we werent measuring the speed @ the time...like ok lets c actually how fast the car is running. we were looking @ the speedometer/odometer that TSX is running in 140mph. it might be true that its showing 140mph to us but actually its running in 133mph (ur theoury).i just wrote of wat we saw, not wat the car's actually speed was. i think that y the M3 Kicked our a**.i think thats wat every1 looks @ when ur racing beside testing ur car.

1st of all......why would the odometer show 140 mph if the car is running at 133 mph? and the TSX is a new car, the odometer shouldn't show wrong speed. 2ndly....it takes 34 secs for the TSX to go from 0-120 mph... so topping 140 mph should take more time....and the road pics look like its one of those areas where u have houses all around and have frequent signals or stop signs. so running at 140 mph for 3 miles sounds impossible, since it is hard to believe that there were no signal or stop sign for 3 miles in such road. I agree I was wrong abt the road. never seen a 3 lane road with 35 mph speed limit b4. but a low speed limit means frequent signals and stop signs....moreover it looks like a residential area...so stop signs or signals are must. 140 mph for 3 miles in such road doesn't really sound reasonable, moreover with the traffic i see on the last pic. and i also see a signal right there in that pic.

and the TSX's top speed being 133 is not my theory. here is the full test result on the TSX done by C/D.

well zoheb i dont want 2 talk about it either. and there r no stop signs and the only stop light we got is @ the end of the road which is a major intersection, 3 miles down. and the race took place on sunday afternoon. usually there r not that much of a traffice in that area. dont know why and if u dont believe me...u can pay a visit here.like i said b4...i dont wanna talk about it either. its up 2 ppl if they wanna believe it or not...coz wat ever is wrote in this section, there is no truth about it if it really happened or not. so if u wanna believe thats good....if u dont just pass it.anywayz i think we r done here.

i dont get what zohebs problem is... u either have a lot of time in ure hands to argue with everyone and write all this or u jus one of those ppl who wanna give out this impression that i know everything..really frustrating and annoying articles.....

asad, chill bro. they're doing their part contributing to the forums. Anyways, they're doing it in a civilised manner and i think its resolved. Not much point in stirring things up again.

weird in what sense? we never see you online.........maybe if you hung out here a bit more then you wont think that we're weird.......

rezwan is it true? you think that some of our contributing members are weird?

you really did not have to read it asad.........there was no point of this entire arguement. it was resolved a long time ago.

if any of the member's are bothering you, we do have the staff lounge to talk about it and all of us mods and admins do use it and if you and rezwan thinks we have weird members then you should asked for our opinions at least instead of jumping to conclusions and letting the NRB's know that they are weird.. we're mods and admins here, we shouldn't be going around starting arguements. we should be the ones brining an end to them. however much it pisses us off, we have to shut up and take care of things in a calm manner. if you dont think you will not be able to handle a member in a calm manner, ask one of us to do it. we're not just members anymore, asad.....

i think calling one or two friendly NRB's weird is calling the others weird too......we're not all that different IMHO.

I feel very sorry for all the NRB members of DTD that they have to listen to all these complains from Asad, just because of me.......I'm really ashamed abt it and I apologize to all the NRB members of DTD regarding this matter.

Now Asad, if u don't like me, then u have two options......(1) either convince Rezwan enough to ban me from DTD or.... 2) just shut up and sit down.

Asad, stop acting like a child, and dragging in whatever personal conversation u might had with rezwan into the open board. This was really uncalled for.And. esp. with 44 posts to your credit I don’t don’t see the reason behind your opinion on deciding who stays and who leaves. If there are any “weird” ppl running around on the site, there are admins on this board to deal with them.

Your contribution to the gallery when the site started will always be noted. But, this site has come a long way since then. You’re not the only person right now who’s responsible for keeping the site running. I could make a list. We’re the ones who are trying to get rid of double standards off this board, you’re just making things a lot more difficult for the rest of the site crew. As tamzeed said, the staff lounge is open for you, y couldn’t u just leave a message there? Rather than showboat your sarcasm here. Well, since u dragged rezwan in it and I’m pretty sure that he didn’t mean it the way u put it..i’ll leave the thread unlocked for him to explain, what this is all about.
