Hey guys, I am back with another street racing story.... this time it was between my black Toyota Mark-II and a white Lexus IS200 (Altezza)... from Gulshan-2 signal towards Candyfloss....
The race got on when I incidentally overtook the lexus at banani... I had my purple neons on and my exhaust screaming as I was in a hurry... to catch a party at home... the time was around 11pm saturday night... and I was driving slightly aggressively.... when I overtook the lexus... the car started matching my pace of driving upto the Gulshan-2 signal.... which was red...
Anyway, then the signal turned green and the race was on.... unfortunately he had clear grounds ahead and zoomed past me as I had 2 really slow taxis infront of me... by the time I changed lanes and actually started my part of the race.... the lexus was almost long gone... lolz.... I thought we would at least have a side by side rolling start for a fair race...
Anyway... i had 2 catch up, I could see the taillights of the lexus abt 10 cars infront... he had to slow down for traffic ahead... I took full advantage of it... I saw 130kmph in my speedo and closed into his back bumper to almost a full stop due to the traffic, flashed my light at his rear view mirrors just to make him more mad.... we both did a lil bit of "getting around the cars infront" and then floored the cars again.... I was quite even with him in accelleration but he started pulling away @100kmph+... after all mine was a 180 hp sedan and his one... a surely 200hp+ sports coupe!
We had just crossed the Standard Chartered bank and I got a call from my dad... I had to pull away from the race coz I needed to attend the call... ... he was just 1 car infront of me... I was hoping to actually finish the race upto canyfloss at Gulshan1, but could not... I sadly saw the white lexus zzzzzzzzzzzzoooming away as I took the next right turn to my home...
Anyway, great driving, props to the lexus driver... he drove nice... I never got around him... but he should have waited to start the race together... the race was kool.. i had fun so did my sis in da passenger seat... two cars racing their mufflers off and the sound of exhaust tearing up the silent night... haha...
I hope da lexus driver is from DTD, let me know if i got the story right... and yeah i am definitely looking forward to come to the DTD meeting on 1st july... till then... tataaazzz.....

watched the pics........nice Altezza. I saw this one in BD too.....I think this guy goes out for race every night. I saw him racing a hatchback car....(don't know what car was it) around 11 pm at night in front of Shonargaon hotel......and then also saw it once in Mirpur Road, infront of Sobhan Bagh Mashjid.....racing another car. that was also at night around 11 pm.......btw, all these i saw was last summer when i was in BD
