hey,
seems i was thinkin upside down,sorry roadkil,ur sources hav a little correct info,i just heard that biman made up rumors abt the planes technical failures,just to save the pilots a**..i also heard,the main reason for this accident was cuz he cudnt approach properly,nuthin to do with the planes faults.the question is DID the plan hav ne faults?!? or was the pilot straight high!..

yeh i also heard that it was an engine fault but if it's the pilot's fault then there must be some warning for him. It's high time for BIMAN to buy some airbus airplanes like the 6 billion dollar deal of Air India with Airbus. I think the government has enough money to buy some cool airbus or boeing jets.

iv been hearin rumors about biman buyin 747 jumbo's for ages,no actualy buyin is takin place..in da middle,they bought a couple of airbuses from australia..

ya dude, i kno, i had the same feeling wen i heard abt the pilot... i kno the pilot personally as well, he seemed a real nice guy but later i found out wut he really is...., do u remember ? once we were in bangkok with that guy?? i don wanna name him in this forum but u'll kno wut i mean... remember how nice n jolly he ws..... but he has changed a lot since the last time i met up wid him...

btw, he ws stripped frm his post of so called "chief of safety", try reading the observer on the net.....

da engine was perfect,da wheels caught fire sumhow..da pilot managed to crash landed it..atleast we have sum gud pilots :D..are the pilots for biman bangladeshi ?:

dude, try n read the news, its NOT a crash landing, if it ws the tower wud hv had to be informed tht they'r gonna crash land....this story ws made up by biman to hide the truth....which is that the pilot ws NOT in control of his aircraft due to his own mistakes.....

Biman should suck it up and face the loss. At least the passengers are safe, bottom line is that no one was hurt, they should not repeat the same mistakes, maybe Biman should conduct bi yearly tests for the pilots.

speakin of tests,chek dis out,my dad suggested an overweight test for the cabin crews,whu are mostly female, THE CABIN CREWS GOT SO PISDD AT MY DAD,they went on strike. most of them are overweight.. :shock: it seemd damn funny!
