they always buy second hand ones or buy them frm other airways on lease

u kno sum of the planes inbiman dont even have the minimum standards of flying provided by the FAA

not true at all,planes are all atleast within the FAA standard,for international passengers,international safety authority come to chek,and i dont think they would allow the planes to fly.
whu are we bein so harsh on the planes,these dc10's are doin ther best,even the crash waznt the planes fault..it was the goddamn suckin pilot's fault..
anyways..biman needs better planes..

i do agree with rawfin,they have 2 meet at least the min. standerds. also another reason is my parents travel in Biman 2 go 2 BD all the time. by saying thoes u guys r just scearing the $h*t out of me mannn :cry:

there are some rules biman has to follow fr the FAA... like wen some parts of the plane is not working, there is a 30 day period within which that needs to be fixed at home base.... biman goes up to the 29th day without fixing it, n then gives an application to the administration showing reports that they dont hv funds, or the parts... therefore to extend their repair time fr maybe 1 month more......

this is how they dont follow the rules of the FAA.... the bend the rules instead of breakin them....

n we cant blame biman fr all.... there r lots of super powers in the country r involved in biman n we cant deny that their pockets r being filled wenever biman gives funding fr the repairs of the aircraft which often go upto few hunderd thousand dollars...

The pic looks good.I heard that Biman wants to buy airplane.Minister of Air or Defence was in Paris at Le bourget to buy Airbus.My father told me about it.Hope that Biman will order many airplanes :D
