good question......

I say 4runner or Land Cruiser......... they are reliable and not very expensive as other imports like Hummer, Escalade, Navigator etc etc.

I would say the "Harrier" aka "RX 300" would be the ideal size.

i have a question.......is Prado and Land Cruiser the same thing or are they different? Cause Prados in BD have "Land Cruiser Prado" written on the back.......but they look different than the Land Cruiser found here in the US.

No they are not the same. The Land Cruisers have 4500cc inline 6 or the 4700cc V8's while the Prado has a 3500cc V6.

In the Gulf there are no 4Runners which has the same engine so we have the Prado.

Land Cruiser tops followed by Prado which is followed by the tiny Rav4

Does it look like the 4Runner. We have a Hilux quad cabin 4x4 for our Service Head. It's absically a pickup with 4 doors and 2.4 ltr engine. Drove it around the dockyard yesterday, I like....Smells of grease inside though... :blue_redface:

Hilix Surf (SUV) used to go to BD back in the 90s........and they looked pretty much similar to the 4 Runner.......just a bit differences here and there. they were like the comparison of Toyota Ceres and Toyota Marino......had the same kind of shape but the head and tail lights were different and slight changes here and there. :blue_rolleyes:

hilux surf's are still available in bd. it's the american version of the 4runner. it uses the 2.8 ltr V6 engine and also the 3.5 ltr engine. I saw two of the new 4runners in bd while I was there. The prado uses the 2.8 ltr V6 and 3.5 ltr V6 engines. The Landcrusier Amazon or just landcruiser uses only the 4700 cc V8 engine. In dubai, there are two choices of engines in the amazon.

Hilux Surf's are really good cars. A friend has one and maintains it really well.
