730i or S350 for bangladesh?

The 730 has an inline 6 engine from the 330 right? I dont think it has that much of a punch, knowing that the 7 is a much heavier car.

Yes indeed you are right Arnab.It has got the 3.0 liters 6 inline 258 hp.
it worth waiting ther new S Class definetely much better than the previous one.Believe me.Everything has been improved.Maybe after for Asian markets where taxes are high a S 280 or S 300 will come with a 3.0 liters V6 231 hp.same than the SLK 280 which is actually powered with the new 3.0 V6.

its more like the infamous i-Drive system. ......everyone is always complaining abt it.....including the reputed car magazines. Everyone likes the 7 series, but hate it's i-Drive system.

the Comand gen III by Mercedes-Benz is very easy to use believe me.I have tested it.Much simpler than the IDRIVE BY BMW.Menus are much clearer.

yeap thats what i heard too....

so far i think only 3 manufacturers have this system in their cars..... 1st BMW, then Audi and now Mercedes......and BMW's one seem to be the worst. I didn't use MB's Command Gen III, but used BMW's i-Drive and Audi's MMI........and MMI seems to work way better than i-Drive, and also much more user friendly.

final decision made. my dad is getting me a 7 series in canada as i got good marks in school. we are gonna get the Mercedes next november in BD. i am getting a 2003-2005 used 745li or 745i with executive package, skirt package and the 19" rims. we are trading in the altima for the 7 series. i guess that is the best choice.

many ppl r complaining about the idrive coz its kinda hard to use... mayb thats y...i found it rely confusing as well wen i tried using it in a 7er at executive motors showroom...
