Extra Iron Car bumpers to be banned
The government has announced that extra car bumpers have been banned and has asked all motorists to remove the extra iron bumpers with in one month. Motorists failing to do so will face a fine from Taka 1200 to Taka 5000.
drivetimedhaka.com sees this as an important decision by the Government to improve public safety on the streets of Dhaka as these extra bumpers that protrude out from the car are dangerous for pedestrians and other vehicles like motorcycles and rickshaws.
