importing vehicles

Post by Turjo »

The recent arrival of the S600 stretch, has awaken my dreams of importing limos; either American or European stretches. Ex. Towncar, Devilled or the Volvo S80. However the Pullman made me realise, that people would probably be less interested in the American stretches as there is a stretched Benz already in Dhaka, and there will probably be more. I am curious as to how much, u guys think the people (those who have the capability to buy these vehicles) would be interested in paying for a Towncar or a Deville stretch. Keep in mind they'd be left hand drive. And if I had converted them to RHD(which would b more expensive on my behalf) do u think it would be more appealing to the people?

i agree with saleen. stretched hummer would be an excellent idea. maneuvering it would be quite a challenge though.

Even though an S600 Pullman exists in BD......I would still say ppl will dig other limos.......like the towncar, deville, hummer, escalade etc etc....the reason is, S600 Pullman's interior is more like a business interior..I mean its more like for ppl who are prominent businessman, and always keeping busy with business related stuff, that they are always short of time.....so they need to do business even when they are in the car......and S600 Pullman, Arnage Mulliner Limo, Maybach 62 is the appropriate vehicle for them......and these vehicles can only accomodate 2-4 people (excluding the driver and the front passenger)

On the other hand, towncar, deville, escalade, hummer etc etc can be used as a business vehicle as well as a party vehicle. these cars can accomodate way more ppl than the S600 Pullman, Arnage Mulliner, Maybach 62.......so if u plan to use ur limousine to cruise around the town with friends and family and party in it, then its better to go for towncar, hummer etc etc limos.

for example, here are the interior differences.....

Pullman, Mulliner, Maybach interiors

Towncar, Deville, H2, Escalade, Excursion

So there u go......ppl who need a business limo, where they and their business partner(s) r going to ride all the time, and don't need much of an accomodation, then they'll go with Pullman and alikes...........and ppl who want to accomodate more ppl and cruise around the town with friends and family, they'll go with towncar, hummer and alikes. (the stretch excursion can accomodate 22 ppl. don't know abt the others)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
P.S........the interiors of the towncar, deville, h2, escalade and excursion limos are not necessarily exact for every one of them........u can choose ur own interior design.

yeap....maneuvering the stretched h2, escalade and excursion will indeed be really tough for regular car drivers. i guess ppl will have to hire truck and bus drivers to drive those limos :D ......but then again, truck/bus drivers in bd are wreckless drivers. :?
