i doubt if it will make any difference in already huge ipod market, the only ipod(nano) killer out there is Sandisk's Sansa ( http://www.trustedreviews.com/article.aspx?art=3014 ) which im hoping to buy......soon >_>
nano has very short battery life!arnab wrote:buy the nano DevilJIN
also that Sansa can play videos with Playback itself is at 15fps – the same as the full size ‘video’ iPod – but it actually looks far smoother under direct comparison. This in part may be because of the smaller screen (30GB and 60GB iPods have 63.5mm displays).
Sansa also has a microSD expansion slot to further boost memory capacity and this works extremely well since any additional data is seamlessly integrated into the player’s media archive.
So yeh sansa outruns nano nearly in every area!
i like to be different =P
No arnab there is no specs on these yet...But they say it will have Wi-Fi and you can download music directly from the internet on the thing...arnab wrote:great but I will never let go of my iPOD......Any specs on these things?
Microsoft is taking there time and releasing...Microsoft always kills the compeititor...In the pricing or the features way...So I can't wait for it...DevilJIN wrote:i doubt if it will make any difference in already huge ipod market, the only ipod(nano) killer out there is Sandisk's Sansa ( http://www.trustedreviews.com/article.aspx?art=3014 ) which im hoping to buy......soon >_>

im looking forward on buying the zune
neways.... when comparing the ipod and zune...
ipod has a 2.5 inch screen where as the zune has a 3 inch screen; both are 4:3.... and evn tho both of them have the same resolution, people say that zune has a better quality and stuff...
zune is only coming out with 30gb where as ipod has both 30 and 60gb... not so sure bout this tho
zune has wi-fi... which enables people to share music and also download stuff from the net... and i downloaded some videos of it, and the song transfers are quite fast
zune is slightly bigger and thicker than ipod... so that's not a problem
looks-wise ipod is better from my point of view... but zune can be found in white, black and .... errrr, brown.... dont ask y, but they seem to think it's kool
other than that, i have no idea bout zune's battery life
